Persistence and dedication protects and improves Connecticut's environment. Our members and coalitions have been working hard to defend our state's natural resources.



Together we have:
· Stopped bulldozers from turning watershed forests into shopping malls.
· Safeguarded wetlands and drinking water by preventing dense development.
· Removed 9,000 pounds of litter from 45 miles of Connecticut shoreline.
· Helped to limit highway expansion, while working hard to reduce car pollution.
· Battled special interests that infringe on public resources.
· Taken chronic industrial polluters to court—and won.
