For four decades, our staff of experts has fought to protect Long Island Sound and your drinking water from pollution, to ensure your family has clean air to breathe and a healthy climate to enjoy, and to protect the natural places you love. Our programs incorporate law, science, engineering, and grassroots advocacy for a holistic approach to solving our region’s toughest environmental problems. Working in partnership with citizens like you, lawmakers, and allied organizations, we do everything from enforcing the Clean Air Act to removing dams that get in the way of migrating fish.

We invite you to learn more about us, and then join our community as a member, volunteer, or activist.

With your passion and our experience, together we will take action to keep our air healthy, our water clean, and the natural places you love safe all across Connecticut and the Sound region—now and for future generations.
